OK so the Bonnaroo crew consisted of... Kevin, Brendan, Justin Peroff, Charles Spearin, Sam Goldberg, Leon Kingstone, Amy, Evan Cranley, and Andrew. Personally I'm hoping for a possible majority of the holy trinity. Hmmmmm.... its a big stretch but Lady Feist has no shows for a few days surrounding the Lolla dates. I don't think Metric does either. Not sure and not too hopefull, but I figure they OWNED the festival in '06 so maybe maybe maybe. Any input?

Do you have the setlist of what they did at Bonnaroo as well? Very curious about that, that will help me decide between them and Battles (although they are winning now)

I have seen Feist, Amy and Lisa Lobsinger do it when Emily wasn't there. They really work on the any dame will do premise.

i guess they play a good amount of stuff from the kevin/brendan BSS presents.... albums , right? i havent really given either of those much of a chance.

just a handful, maybe up to 4 combined, prolly not more. With them doing at least one Brendan song and one Kevin song (the wonderful "Backed Out on the..." most definetly will be played).

BSS is playing a free show here in Utah in August!!! Also the Cool Kids will be here on July 24 with De La Soul...for free. I will be missing their Lolla sets but definitely checking out the show here! http://www.slcgov.com/Arts/twilight/lineup.htm

Yes Amy sang on Anthems for A Seventeen-Year Old Girl. I really love and appreciate Amy but I just don't think anything beats Emily's vocals on that track. They play a few songs from Something For All of Us I imagine even more so now that Brenden released the album early (in digital format) on Arts & Crafts. I would LOVE to hear tbtf but they most likely will go a little more rock and roll with Backed Out On The... Also don't forget they are playing at Metro for one of the official aftershows with Yeasayer the same night. EPIC. They will no doubt play a very different set for the later show at Metro.

The perks for me are... well firstly... seeing them twice. I can't really see them playing from 630 to 730 and then playing the same set list again later that night. Plus they will definitely have more than an hour to play at Metro. So that means more songs that you didn't hear before. ALSO, metro is something like a thousand person venue. So it will be a much more personable atmosphere. All those together and I don't see myself missing either of their performances.
