I was fortunate enough to have the Black Lips rumble through Lawrence, KS, tonight. I was talking to some of the guys before the show and they confirmed that they would be playing Lollapalooza.

They put on a hell of a show, so I think this is a great thing for Lolla.

I almost went to that show, but I went to see the Horrorpops on Saturday instead. BTW, I spoke to the lead singer dude from the Pink Spiders. He says he's going to "look into" playing two shows in Chicago on 8-2 (Warped and Lolla). Looks doubtful to me. He acted like he didn't even know they were playing the Warped tour. Like it was a big surprise to him. "We are?"

This is a good add. I'm a little surprised as I expected they would be at PoFoMoFo.

They are playing Logan Square this weekend and also doing an early show for autistic kids.
