The winning artist will perform before Junior Senior.

The options above are what have been proposed.

Also, please make suggestions for our next time slot.

2008 - Playstation (2:15-3:00pm)

For reference, Sam Roberts Band played this spot in 2007.

Crystal Castles!



From Wikipedia:

Crystal Castles is a Toronto based band, described by Loud & Quiet as "the most exciting and original band in the world right now" and described by Pitchfork as "8-bit terror" consisting of multi-instrumentalist Ethan Fawn and vocalist Alice Glass. The group's music has been described as "innovative". Crystal Castles are known not only for their own efforts as a band, but also because Fawn has remixed songs by a number of other groups, including "Leni" by GoodBooks, "Hunting for Witches" by Bloc Party, and "Atlantis to Interzone" by fellow friends and label mates, Klaxons.

Status: offline 		I nominate Dead Meadow.  My sister is friends with one of her members and picked up their reissued first album at Waterloo in Austin, TX (know that place, Rosseus and RHL?  they have an awesome selection).  I was listening to it about a week ago and thought it was great.  They're kind of jambandish, but more experimental and much more interesting.  They used to be D.C.-based, but I guess are in LA now.  My sis met one of the members because they were servers at the same bar/restaurant.

Who cares?  Every person who has tried to think of a somewhat legitimate suggestion for the fake lineup.  Clearly you don't get what we're trying to do here, so you should probably just stop participating in this.
